The new Segway miniPLUS featured centre-stage during TV coverage of the launch of Big Boys Toys last weekend.

Social media and technology commentator Aziz Al-Sa'afin rode the miniPLUS throughout two live broadcast crosses during TV3's AM Show (view a compilation of the two clips here).

Not only did Aziz race around on the miniPLUS to point out cars like a $10 million Ferrari, but at one point he was chased by another miniPLUS being driven by remote control.

Tens of thousands of people saw the new Segway miniPLUS and miniLITE, together with the miniPRO and full-size Segway Personal Transporters at Segway New Zealand's stand. Meanwhile, out in the Action Arena the show's Master of Ceremonies rode a Segway Patroller in from of the crowds throughout the three day event.

Back inside, we were busy giving thousands of demo rides to attendees.
