TV3's morning news show Firstline was there for the demonstration of a wheelchair that is built on top of an unmodified Segway Personal Transporter (PT). The item went to air as part of that show's Tech Bites segment earlier this month. You can watch it online here. The segment includes an interview with the inventor, Kevin Halsall. Note that the interviewer quotes the top speed of the Segway incorrectly.
