WOW, or World of Wearable Arts is a much-loved New Zealand institution. This annual event spans several weeks and draws tens of thousands of people from all across the country to experience the wide variety of exhibitors and performances.

This year, Segway New Zealand provided a fleet of mini Segway transporters for stage performers to ride and incorporate into their presentations. Additionally, our friends at Roll NZ provided electric unicycles.

This year, in August we sent four devices down to Wellington for performers to use: two Segway miniLITES, a Segway miniPLUS, and a Segway-Ninebot miniPRO. These self-balancing platforms enable creative performers to glide not just quickly, silently and elegantly, but also somewhat mysteriously and magically across the stage.
