The self-balancing Segway Personal Transporter (PT) provides safe, convenient mobility to many disabled New Zealanders. One of our first PT customers in 2004 was an above-knee amputee, and last week a double-amputee purchased an i2. He is now enjoying new-found freedom, and the simple enjoyment of once again being able to travel around his home town in rural Taranaki.
